Italian Cheese Bread
A strong tasting cheese bread.
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1/2 cup shredded pepperjack cheese
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
- 2Select White Bread or Basic cycle. Start.
This is a subtley seasoned bread, with a spoonful each of Parmesan and herbs, that emerges fragrant from your bread machine. This loaf will give good flavor that won 't overshadow the other foods on your plate.
A light loaf without olive oil or milk, this one conveniently bakes in your bread machine.
This inspired loaf of tomato and nutty Asiago emerges from your bread machine with healthy touches like amaranth flour and a little olive oil.
Interesting combination of ingredients make it an ideal accompaniment to home-made soup, stew or light salad luncheon. Also school lunchboxes or brown-bagger's lunch.
