Ron's Bread Machine White
This bread stays fresh longer than any 'standard' white bread we have tried.
- 1 cup water
- 1 extra large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons dry milk powder
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup bread flour
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1Place ingredients in order suggested by your manufacturer.
- 2Select basic bread setting, normal crust.
This basic white loaf is dairy-free, and may be just the recipe you are looking for: plain, unadulterated bread.
With this incredibly easy recipe, you'll get tender, milky, moist white bread right out of the bread machine.
The powdered buttermilk does not activate the leavening until it is mixed with the water, so you can put the ingredients in the bread machine at night using the delay feature, and wake up to the incomparable aroma of freshly baked bread.
